About me: from 2006 blogs to Google Business Profiles

How I started

Twenty years ago I discovered blogs and websites. This very domain, josucristobal.com, began in 2008 as a personal blog. Since then I have not stopped learning how the internet works: first out of curiosity, then with my own projects and, since 2020, helping local businesses get found.

I went through several ventures before finding what I do best: making a neighbourhood business show up on Google Maps when someone nearby searches for it.

Digibal SEO Local

In 2020 I founded Digibal SEO Local in Eibar. The idea was simple: apply to small businesses what big brands were already doing with their Google presence, at prices a local business can afford, and measure what really matters (calls, WhatsApp and directions), not rankings.

The agency has opened offices in Bilbao, Burgos and Madrid as demand grew. Managing our own four profiles forces us to apply the same discipline we sell.

What I have done so far

• More than 50 Google Business Profiles created and managed.
• More than 10 industries worked and running: renovations, cleaning, gardening, beauty centres, lawyers, schools, HVAC, industrial laundry, chiropractors, architects, hairdressers and hospitality.
• Projects profitable from the first month, with my own static websites and city pages.
• AI search visibility applied to my own agency before offering it to any client.

How I work

I do not work with two direct competitors in the same industry and area. Before starting I measure the Maps ranking grid, pull real search volumes for each city and look at what the top five are doing. With that I decide whether I can help; if your real problem is not visibility, I tell you as frankly as I would want to be told.

Results are reviewed monthly with the client: calls from the profile, WhatsApp clicks and direction requests. If they do not grow, we change the plan.
